CABI Fall 2021 - Set Design

Set design work I did directed by Matthew Sheppard at The Sheppard.  Usually cabi does 2 fashion shows/team conventions a year, but with the Covid pandemic they moved to an online broadcast format.  In the past I have done the stage/runway design, several of which are shown here in my portfolio.  I think I've done close to 12 shows for them.

 

For this broadcast, a studio was selected and I got to modeling the space.  I modeled the studio building and developed a separate CAD drawing of the full site so that trailers, generators, etc could be placed.  We analyzed the interior spaces for best use and then I worked up 4 sets based on show needs.  I developed a living room set with two levels, a home office set, a kitchen set and a foyer set.  There was very little change from the initial pitch design to the one finally accepted by the client.  Included below are the Living Room, Kitchen and Home Office sets along with as-built photos.  I am very proud of this work.
